The Shepherd’s Hut
The Shepherd’s Hut is located in a delightful, tucked away position in the heart of the Yox Valley, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Peasenhall. If you are looking for total peace, a romantic break, or wish to explore this beautiful part of Suffolk, then this unique, high quality accommodation will be just perfect.
Willow fencing creates a private, secluded garden and a pretty gravel path takes you to two dedicated parking spaces. There is a seating area outside the Shepherd’s hut with teak garden furniture, and a fire pit. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn with a hammock in which to enjoy the view and offer complete relaxation. The only noise to interrupt your peace will be the sound of wildlife, and in the evenings, you can enjoy the magic of star gazing with no street lights to spoil the experience.
At one end of the Shepherd’s Hut there is an awning, where you will find a Webber barbeque, charcoal and cooking utensils.
The Shepherd’s Hut has been hand built to the owner’s high specification by local craftsmen. High quality fixtures and furnishings have been carefully selected to create a warm and homely feel. Connected to mains water and electricity this traditional looking accommodation will provide you with all the comforts of modern day living.
On arrival at the Shepherds Hut you will be greeted with a generous welcome pack, including fresh eggs from our hens, a homemade cake and a bottle of wine or prosecco chilling in the fridge.
On chilly days, the wood burner will be lit and wood is provided free of charge throughout your stay.
